Q. How long does it take PM Spectrum to assess and provide estimated cost savings.

A. In case of existing PMO: It depends on the size of your PMO and          specific functions it provides. Generally, it takes 5 to 10 days, depending on how quickly the required information is provided to PM Spectrum.

In case of creating a new PMO: PM Spectrum would gather your current project portfolio, resources currently used on project, etc. Generally it takes 5 to 10 days, depending on how quickly the required information is provided to PM Spectrum.

Q. Does PM Spectrum provide training?

A. Yes, PM Spectrum provides extensive training for companies choosing model 2. If you choose Model 1 however, the need for training is very minimal as PM Spectrum creates, maintains PMO, all related data, and provide all required personnel for projects.

Q. As part of setting up PMO, does PM Spectrum provide or provide assistance in creating project related forms and templates

A. Yes, PM Spectrum creates customized templates for each company based on their needs and requirements.

Q. How long does it take to setup PMO?

A. It depends on your existing PMO size and functions it currently provides generally it takes approximately 3 months to have it all setup and fully functional. 

Q. Where does project related data reside?

A. If you are selecting Model 1, the data resides on our servers, allowing you full access 24/7 to your data. This reduces hardware, maintenance, support expense

if you are selecting Model 2, the data would reside on your companies servers, unless you decide PM spectrum to house and manage data on our servers.

Q. Does PM Spectrum provides assistance with regulatory/ legislative related audits?

A. Yes. PM Spectrum ensures that your company's data is in right format and fully compliant with regulatory/ legislative requirements, and assists in all industry specific audit, for example Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) of 2002.

Q. Is there a limitation on types of projects PM Spectrum team can manage and provide required resources?

A. No. Our team consist of Project Managers having wide variety and industry experience. And in case you have a project that is unique, PM Spectrum would seek out and acquire project manager and related resources who does. This is another benefit of having PM spectrum on working for you.

Q. Does PM Spectrum follow any specific industry standards in setting up PMO and setting processes and procedures?

A. Yes, PM Spectrum primarily follows Project Management Institutes' (PMI) recommendations based on Project Management Book of Knowledge (PMBOK)

Q. Does company pay more for resources than if they contracted resources themselves?
